A large screenprint from the period when Tom Wesselmann was turning his quick studio drawings into laser-cut steel "drawings" and prints that kept the energy of the sketch. A woman reclines before a mirror, her figure, the chair and the window behind reduced to black line and hatching on a pale ground, the pose a descendant of the Great American Nudes that made his name in the 1960s.
At nearly five feet across it is among the largest of Wesselmann's prints. Edition of 130, hand-signed by the artist.
Detailed images available upon request.
