One of the last editions Tom Wesselmann made, from the Sunset Nudes series that occupied his final years. A reclining figure in his signature flat planes of color sits against a bright, cut-paper landscape of sky, palm and tulips, the whole image raised in low relief by the Mixografia process, which casts handmade paper from a sculpted plate so the print carries real depth and surface.
Published by Mixografia, Los Angeles, in an edition of 75, with the artist's embossed signature, pencil numbering and the estate stamp on the reverse.
